How Your Program Works
1. Thorough Health & Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire
Before we can start your training program, I first need to know who you are and your habits. My in-depth questionnaire will give me all the information I need to get an understanding of your current habits, fitness level, and what makes you tick. It is here that I learn about your goals and begin to lay the foundation for how we are going to achieve them.
2. Personalized Mobility Assessment & Structural Analysis
Understanding where you are right now is paramount to me drawing a map to get you where you need to be. In other words, before I can create your personalized program I first need to know the starting line of your physical abilities. Each assessment I require of my clients is unique to them (I don’t do anything cookie cutter) depending upon the responses in their health & fitness questionnaire. Each of my clients will need to submit 3 photos in a standing static posture and several videos performing a transitional movement exercise. These are the most important tools I need to create your program as they will show me bilateral symmetry, fat distribution, and overall structural integrity.
3. Your Personalized Program Arrives
Now the real fun begins! Once I’ve taken all questionnaires and assessments into account I will get down to creating the best possible program that fits your needs and goals. Again, I do not use cookie-cutter programs. We are all humans but each of us is different in our own ways (metabolically, hormonally, etc.). Your program is created by me from scratch and is the best option for you to achieve your goals. Here you will also get your mobilization/corrective exercise program if movement compensations were found during your mobility assessments & structural analysis.
4. Tracking Your Progress and Weekly Check-ins
Training with me means you have access to me 24/7. Whether you have questions about an exercise, sleep, or just want to know how to navigate eating out with your friends, I will be accessible to answer any and all questions you have. Additionally, you will also get to meet with me virtually every week for our 15-minute video call. I look forward to these because I am able to communicate with my clients face to face and see their progress! During this time we will discuss how the previous week went and discuss how to progress the following week. Progression is important in any program as our bodies are natural adapters. As your body begins to adapt to your program, I will make the necessary changes you need to keep you progressing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Personal supervision is among the most important factors needed to permanently implement behavior change. Most people have the knowledge to do what is needed to change but are missing that extra push or person to help inspire them and keep them on the right path. Online training touts numerous benefits that traditional in-person training just can’t offer such as exercising on your own schedule, better affordability, and 24/7 access to your trainer (just to name a few).
The greatest benefit of online training, as opposed to in-person training at a gym, is that my full-time job is being available to you at all times. When you work with an in-person trainer you are paying to use that trainer for the 30-60 minute session you hired them for. This model of training is fine, but it has its obvious limitations. What if you need a quick motivational boost to get that walk in before bed? Unsure if that food you want to buy at the store is a healthy option? Training with me gives you the ability to contact me 24/7 from anywhere in the world! Imagine having access to your trainer whenever you needed that extra push to stay on track. It would be difficult to fall off course if I’m there to help you every step of the way.
Personalized programs may take up to 4 days from the time of purchase. You will have access to me for 16 weeks (minimum) starting on the date you receive your personalized program.
Before purchasing online personal training you will be prompted to fill out a new client questionnaire form. You’ll also have to submit photos of your static posture and/or video of 1-3 dynamic movements in order to provide me with the information I need to correctly tailor the program to your needs. The sooner I receive this information, the sooner I am able to deliver your program.
Please be thorough with this questionnaire and be sure to include any specific requirements or limitations you have.
All you need is your smartphone and an internet connection.
All exercises in your custom program come with instructional videos and written descriptions on how to properly perform the exercise. If you still feel uncomfortable performing the exercise after video demonstrations then contact me and we will set up a video call so I can go over each exercise individually that you are uncertain about. I will demonstrate the exercise in front of you then have you perform it after so I can view your form and movement patterns. Easy peasy!
Nope! The beauty of working with me online is that you can do everything from the comfort of your own home, hotel room, backyard, park, etc.
If you do have a gym membership or modalaties at home (bands, dumbbells, etc.) then I would like to know so I can incorporate what you have access to in your program.
Ingraining healthy habits is not an overnight job. It’s probably taken months if not years for you to get stuck in any unhealthy habits you have now. Training with me for 16 weeks gives us the time we need to drop old habits and integrate a new healthier lifestyle. My clients would have a hard time maintaining healthy habits in the long-term if I only worked with them for 1 month. You would be throwing money away and I would be failing as your trainer. Let’s avoid all that and take our time together.
Unfortunately, I cannot because I am not a Registered Dietician (RD). It is against the law for ANY personal trainer or coach to write a client a meal plan unless they have RD behind their name.
What I do offer is nutritional guidance & grocery store supervision and lists. We will track your eating habits and I will be there every step of the way to teach you what foods your body needs for nourishment and which it does not. By the end of the program you will have the confidence, knowledge, and habits in place to make healthy eating choices for the rest of your life!
I will provide you with a link to download the LSW app via email once you’ve submitted payment for your program. The app can be used on any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop device. It is compatible with Android & iOS.
If you would like to continue with me as your trainer for a longer period then I am more than happy to help! After your 16 week (4 month) commitment is up, we can continue on a month-to-month plan.
